World No.128 Golubic, who wasn't seeded for the event, comfortably beat the 83rd-ranked Russian who made a lot of unforced errors. No.112 Wickmayer beat former world No.2 Vera Zvonareva of Russia 7-6 (7/4), 6-3 in the last-32 round on Tuesday night. Fourth seed Hsieh Su-wei of Taiwan also reached the last eight after beating Marie Bouzkova of the Czech Republic 6-4, 6-1.
